King tells French Minister Jordan keen on judicial cooperation
Amman, April 26 (Petra) - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday discussed with visiting French Justice Minister Michele Alliot-Marie prospects for forging closer ties between Jordan and France in the judicial and legislative fields. His Majesty told the minister that the two countries had maintained friendship and cooperation in various areas, referring to plans to upgrade Jordan's judicial system. Jordan and France signed a cooperation protocol last year to exchange legislation, legal publications, research and information on the judicial system in both countries, as well as to teach French language in the Judicial Institute of Jordan. The meeting was attended by Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi, King's Advisor Ayman Safadi, Minister of Justice Ayman Odeh and French Ambassador to Jordan Corinne Breuz .
